There is a freedom that comes from maintaining a healthy way of life. It is my intention to help others to get to that place. The place where you can enjoy your health and feel what its like to thrive.

Meet Sarah A Lange, R.Ac., LMT

Sarah discovered holistic medicine at the age of 21. Faced with health conditions including asthma, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances and injuries from a car accident, she began a journey into natural healing. This included naturopathic medicine, chiropractic care, herbal medicine, yoga and massage therapy. Observing the positive changes and relief that occurred, Sarah set out to study and pursue a career in the healing arts.

While living in Southern California, Sarah attended school for massage therapy certification. During this time she immersed herself in the culture of healthy eating, yoga and outdoor recreation. Working as a full time massage therapist, she continued with self study of nutrition and supplements often experimenting with dietary cleanses and fasting. She also worked within an acupuncture clinic and became familiar with the conditions acupuncture could treat. Eventually, she made the choice to take on a dual degree program studying nutrition and Traditional Chinese Medicine. This allowed Sarah to obtain her dream of becoming a holistic minded, medical practitioner.

Sarah’s History & Credentials

Sarah's acupuncture practice has a strong focus on sports medicine, pain management, psycho-emotional wellness and nutritional therapy. She obtained extensive clinical experience in each of these areas during her 3 year clinical internship at the MCOM free health clinic in downtown Chicago.

While completing her Masters degree of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, Sarah spent weekends in Boulder, Colorado for specialized training in sports injuries and musculoskeletal disorders. She completed her 6 month apprenticeship certification with Whitfield Reaves, LAc, founder of the Boulder Acupuncture Sports Medicine Clinic in 2011.

She incorporates her massage therapy training within her Acu-Bodywork combination treatments. Sarah is passionate about continuing education in all of her modalities and will forever be evolving her practice to serve the needs of her clientele.

“Sarah is a superb health and wellness provider. She is incredibly knowledgeable in all things holistic health. I sought out Sarah because I was suffering. I was in need of change. I was seeking exactly what Sarah provides to start my unique road to healing and self awareness. Since seeing Sarah at Live Well I have felt healthier and happier, with reduced anxiety and increased strength and energy. I feel a sense of calm that I did not know before my experience with Sarah's acupuncture treatments. Her methods have eliminated the pain in my neck and back as well as the numbness in my hands/feet/lips, which are symptoms of severe anxiety. I couldn't be happier about her work and how I feel!”
